Go buy the apples and some butter and a blender from the above location and then go home. Take the core and other debree (like peel) off the apples. Take all of the things you have purchased and use them to blend the apples and butter into a fine paste. Take the paste and put it into an old jam jar. Screw the lid back on the old jam jar. The place the jar into a pot of boiling water until the heat kills all bacteria, remove the jar from the pot and let it cool. The safety seal should pull closed at this time. Now your apple butter is ready and you can put it in the cupboard for later use or you can use it now. Please refrigerate after oening. |
