Utilities
Taiwan might be the easiest place in the world to pay your utility bills. Here's a quick step by step guide to keeping your phone, water and electricity all flowing freely.
Supplies: to pay bills you will only need two things, the bill and some money.
Step 1: get your bill
Go downstairs and get the bill out of your mail box.
Step 2: Go to the nearest convenience store.
This can be an OK mart, 7-11, Family Mart, or any of the millions of other convenience stores in Taipei.

Step 3: Pay your bill
Give both your bill and cash to the man or woman behind the counter. They will take your money, tear off part of your bill, stamp the bill and give you a receipt. Easy huh.
Step 4: You screwed up and now your

power has been cut off
So getting to the local convenience store and paying a few bucks was too difficult for you. Or maybe the month and a half of time they gave you wasn't long enough to get to the store because your just too busy. Whatever the reason, don't fret. You can still get your power back. Instead of going to the convenience store to pay you will now have to go somewhere else. This varies a lot from depending on the type of bill and the location you are in, usually it's a bank. Just show your bill to a Chinese friend and have them point you in the right direction. Good luck.
